Back to school Tuesday 23rd April - Have a lovely Easter Holiday

Gardening and Wildlife Club

Our a Gardening and Wildlife Club is now up and running.

We have been very busy since securing money from our TESCO bid.

We are using the money to build a sensory garden and also develop the wildlife areas around school.

So far, we have planted fruit trees to establish an Intack Orchard, at the back of school we have planted trees which will one day grow into our woodland and we are building raised beds so that we can start to grow our own food.

The Sensory Garden is nearly complete, with help from the children in school, we have built raised beds and benches.

We plan to have lots of plants and objects to 'tickle our senses'.

Keep an eye out for the bird and bat boxes we have built.

We are really grateful to Julie Livesey, from The Prospect Foundation, for all her help and support in our vision to make Intack primary school a green and wildlife friendly place.

Keep checking our page and blog for ideas and ways in which you can look after the wildlife in our community.

Top Tip - keep feeding the birds who visit your gardens, they need all the help they can get!
