World Book Day Costume Making
Lots of families have been coming into school on a Friday afternoon over the past few weeks to make costumes for World Book Day.
Little Chicks and the PTFA would like to thank all the parents and children who got involved. It was a huge success and the costumes were fantastic! A big well don’t to everyone!
We look forward to more events like this in the future.

Spring Term 2018
Hello!
A lot has happened since my last update!
Mrs. Parkinson is now our school Community and Parent links coordinator and a fantastic job she is doing.
I will still be involved, working with parents and our community to improve the lives of our families.
Mrs. Parkinson will now be chair of the Intack Parents and Community Group and she will be organising events and attending meetings.
At our recent meeting, we welcomed a new member to the committee and we have planned the Easter events and a few fundraisers, please see details below.
Some of you may have noticed that there have been a few changes in our school's green spaces, our year 5 garden and wildlife club has been working hard planting, fruit trees for our orchard, trees for copse and a willow arch! This project has been funded by our successful Tesco bid, thank you to all the parents and community members who voted for us with the blue tokens!
We have made great links with Prospect Environment Centre, Hyndburn, who are helping us to develop our outdoor environment into a wildlife- friendly space where children will learn about looking after the environment and the animals and plants around our school.
Thank you to Julie Livesay who has shown great patience when I have been 'rambling' on about my vision for the future of 'environmental learning' at Intack!
Little Chicks continues to run on Wednesday mornings and we have parent learning workshops also running at the moment. Please speak to Mrs. Parkinson at the school office if you would like to come along to either of these.
Our next meeting will take place after the Easter Holidays, so if you are interested in coming along please see Mrs. Parkinson or Mrs. Hamriding for further details.
Happy Easter
Mrs. Hamriding
