Welcome back to school for the Summer Term ... The school book fair is back!! Parents and children can visit the book fair after school from 3:20-4:00pm via the school's main entrance.

Session 9

This weeks Forest School session included:

  • To follow set instructions
  • To create mud paint using certain measurements
  • To create an image of the Forest School site out of mud paint
  • To explain what grows in the forest

We all went on a journey around the Forest School site, following different directions such as take half a turn and walk forward 20 steps. We did this until we reached a point, after this we had to explain which point we were at, what the point is and features of this, such as a tree which has bark, roots and branches etc. When we did this we discussed the type of forest we have, either a deciduous or evergreen forest.

We loved our adventure and we were all amazing at following the instructions.

After this we made mud paint! This included different measurements of mud and water to create the paint! We used natural resources as paint brushes. The pictures were of the forest school site and areas we noticed on our journey of the site. We did not use paper for this, we used material.

On 15th March 2019 it was Red Nose day! As part of this we decided to create our own red noses created out of natural resources. We were very excited!
