Nursery Rhyme Week
We took part in National Nursey Rhyme Week where we learnt many different nursery rhymes. We dressed up as our favourite nursery rhyme character and performed it to everyone in Early Years.
Stay and Play (October)
Thank you to all the parents who attended the play and stay sessions.
We had a day of fun Halloween activities. We bobbed for apples, pinned the spider on the web, danced to spooky songs, played a listening game and made a witch.
The Book Bus
The Book bus came to school to let the children buy books. We went on the bus and enjoyed some stories read to us.
We had so much fun joining in with all the Christmas activities! We sang our hearts out as a sheep, an angel, a nativity character or a star in the Grumpy Sheep play.
We held a Christmas tree colouring competition. Well done to the winners Umar and Amelia.
We made a bag full of treats - calendars, Christmas cards, baubles, pictures of the reindeer visit and reindeer dust.
We had a Christmas party where we enjoyed games, dancing and food.
Reading Work Shop
Every Tuesday and Thursday the classroom will be open from 8.40 - 9.00 am for children to come into the classroom and read with parents and carers. Staff will be around to help with changing reading books and to discuss early reading skills and next steps for children.
Thanks Mrs Forrest and Mrs Kell
