Welcome back to school for the Summer Term ... The school book fair is back!! Parents and children can visit the book fair after school from 3:20-4:00pm via the school's main entrance.

Week 3

Art week! This week we took advantage of the weather and used pastels to create different sketches and drawings of natural items around the forest school area. Children chose natural resources they wanted to draw such as flowers, the log area, trees and mini beasts. We tidied up some of the flower gardens and disposed the weeds into the compost area. We also completed our favorite choosing activity ... mini beast hunting! 

 

The learning objectives: 

 

  • To create drawing or a sketch of a natural resource
  • To name 3 or 5 living things/natural resources
