6 Eagles

Hello and welcome to Eagle Class. We are year 6 and our teacher is Mr Miller.

Eagle Facts


  • Eagles can be found in Eurasia and Africa, but also can be found in North, Central and South America and Australia too.

  • There are approximately 60 different species.

  • They also have large hooked beaks and powerful talons, which help them to catch their prey.

  • Eagles have amazing eyesight and can detect prey up to two miles away. They can feed on big prey, such as, monkeys and sloths.

  • Eagles lay between 1-3 eggs in nests that can weigh up to a ton and measure up to 8 feet across.
