Dear Parents/Carers,
In Reception, we are trying to make our children as confident and enthusiastic about reading as they can be.
Children who read with confidence and have a good understanding benefit in all of their learning, across all subjects.
Encouraging children to read regularly and to choose books they will enjoy (so that they develop a real love of reading) is a team effort between home and school.
We would like to invite you into school for our Reception Reading Café in the hall on Friday 15th May at 2.30pm.
We promise that it will be fun and relaxed but useful too.
We will have a chat about reading, including choosing books and discussing the stories or information with your child.
We will sit together in family groups and enjoy a bit of fun reading time together.
There will be tea / coffee for the adults, juice for the children and hopefully biscuits too!
2026 is the National Year of Reading, so we really want to make sure that our children are the very best readers they can be and develop a life-long passion and enjoyment for reading.

ریسیپشن کلاس میں ہم کوشش کر رہے ہیں کہ بچوں کو پڑھنے کے حوالے سے زیادہ سے زیادہ بااعتماد اور پُرجوش بنایا جائے۔
جو بچے اعتماد کے ساتھ پڑھتے ہیں اور اچھی سمجھ رکھتے ہیں، وہ اپنی تمام تعلیم میں، تمام مضامین میں بہتر کارکردگی دکھاتے ہیں۔
بچوں کو باقاعدگی سے پڑھنے کی ترغیب دینا اور ایسے کتب کا انتخاب کرنے میں مدد دینا جنہیں وہ پسند کریں (تاکہ ان میں پڑھنے کا حقیقی شوق پیدا ہو) گھر اور اسکول کے درمیان ایک مشترکہ کوشش ہے۔
ہم آپ کو جمعہ 15 مئی کو دوپہر 2:30 بجے اسکول ہال میں ہونے والے ہمارے ریسیپشن ریڈنگ کیفے میں مدعو کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
ہم وعدہ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ ایک خوشگوار، پُرسکون اور مفید تجربہ ہوگا۔
ہم پڑھنے کے بارے میں گفتگو کریں گے، جس میں کتابوں کا انتخاب اور اپنے بچے کے ساتھ کہانیوں یا معلومات پر بات کرنا شامل ہوگا۔
ہم فیملی گروپس میں بیٹھ کر ساتھ مل کر پڑھنے کا لطف بھی اٹھائیں گے۔
بڑوں کے لیے چائے/کافی، بچوں کے لیے جوس اور امید ہے کہ بسکٹ بھی فراہم کیے جائیں گے!
سال 2026 "نیشنل ایئر آف ریڈنگ" ہے، اس لیے ہم واقعی چاہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے بچے بہترین قارئین بنیں اور پڑھنے کا عمر بھر کا شوق اور دلچسپی پیدا کریں۔
