DT

This half-term we will be focusing on designing and making pizzas for our DT project.

MUSIC

We will be continuing  to learn how to play the violin and follow written music.  Our visit to Media City to perform with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra will take place on 19th June.

PE

Swimming for Jays began on 2nd June.  Toucans will have PE lessons on Tuesday mornings, so they will need to have their PE kits in school.

SPANISH

Our topic is "En la cafeteria".  We will be learning how to order food and drink in Spanish and read simple menus.

RE

Key question: "Is death an ending of a beginning?"

PSHE

Growing and Changing

MATHS

We will be covering negative numbers, decimals, converting units of measure and volume.

ENGLISH

Characterisation through a "Beat the monster" story and persuasion.

SCIENCE

Animals, including humans.

COMPUTING

Gaming.  We will be creating our own games for others to play and evaluate.
