A Very Scientific Afternoon

Our Year 1 children had a fantastic time taking part in three exciting science activities this week! First, we had a go at making our own snow. Although it turned out a little more watery than we expected, the children had lots of fun exploring and investigating what happened. We also made our own rain gauges and placed them outside, ready to measure how much rain we collect over the coming days. Finally, we dug up the potatoes we planted a few weeks ago. The children were so excited to see how much they had grown, and they're looking forward to tasting them too—Mrs Clamp is going to turn our home-grown potatoes into delicious chips for everyone to enjoy!
