Some of our home-grown vegetables were ready to harvest, so our Gardening Club Eco Warriors headed into the polytunnel and around the school planters to gather the potatoes and cucumbers they had worked so hard to grow. Just look at the amazing harvest they collected!

While the Gardening Club were busy gathering their crops, our Nursery children were enjoying Forest School and were delighted to join in too. They helped pull up the vegetables, wash them and, of course, taste them. We're pleased to report that the potatoes and cucumbers were absolutely delicious!

This fantastic experience gave the children the opportunity to see the journey from seed to plate, and they were incredibly proud of the produce they had grown themselves. (There will be lots more after the summer holidays to gather).
