This week, Robins class practised representing numbers within 20 using bead strings, ten frames and counters. The children developed their understanding of place value by exploring how numbers can be made in different ways, recognising groups of ten and identifying how many more ones are needed. These practical activities helped to strengthen their counting skills and confidence in recognising and representing numbers.
