In Year 1, we love learning outdoors and take our learning outside whenever we can.

We explored the school grounds as part of our Geography learning, where we looked at the different types of housing around our school and identified physical and human features. In RE, we searched for signs of spring and observed changes in the natural environment.

During PSHE, we thought about our favourite parts of the school and discussed how we can look after our school grounds. In English, we followed instructions to make paper aeroplanes and then went outside to test how well they flew.

We have also enjoyed sharing our hometime stories together in the outdoor garden, making the most of our learning environment.
