In English, we will be exploring narrative stories and learning all about stories set in familiar places. Our work will be based on Harry the Happy Mouse, where we will develop our storytelling, reading and writing skills. We will also enjoy exploring poems and rhymes and finding out more about animals through information texts.

In Maths, we will be developing our understanding of place value and learning how to use our knowledge to solve addition and subtraction problems.

In Science, we will be investigating materials and their properties. We will explore different materials and discover what makes them suitable for different purposes.

Alongside our main subjects, we will have daily phonics and guided reading sessions, as well as weekly PSHE, RE and PE lessons. We are also very excited to be starting Forest School soon! During this half-term, we will also enjoy learning through History, Design and Technology (DT), Music and Computing.
