    Reading

    Reading books will be sent home every day and changed every Thursday / Friday. Please remember to sign your child's reading record when they have read at home. Children must read at least three times a week to develop understanding and fluency. Reading book bags must be sent to school every day.

    Homework

    Homework will be sent home at the start of every half-term. Please try to complete at least one task per week and send your child's homework in before the end of the half-term. We encourage practical tasks and creativity, so please send this in. Please take a look at our homework page for more details.

    Spellings

    Spellings will be sent home at the start of every term and children are expected to learn these, ready for a test at the end of the half-term. Weekly phonics spellings will also be sent home to help develop reading, please practise reading these and spelling them.

    PE

    Our PE day is MONDAY. Please remember to bring your PE kit to school in a PE bag and leave it in school every day. Your PE kit will be sent home at the end of each half-term.

    Our PE uniform is a

    • white t-shirt,
    • black or blue jogging bottoms / leggings,
    • socks,
    • trainers,
    • school jumper or hoodie.
