Year 2 enjoyed an exciting day of outdoor learning linked to our work on David Attenborough and his passion for nature, animals and the environment.
The children took part in a carousel of engaging activities carefully planned by the KS1 teachers. These included creating bug houses, designing animal masks, going on a minibeast hunt and exploring trees and tree trunks around the school grounds.
Throughout the day, pupils developed their observation skills, curiosity and understanding of the natural world while working collaboratively with their peers. Most importantly, the children had lots of fun learning outdoors and discovering more about the wildlife and habitats around them.
