Welcome to Year 2! 🎉

We are so excited to welcome you back to school and into our Year 2 classroom. This year is going to be full of new adventures, exciting learning, and lots of fun together.

We’ll be reading amazing stories 📚, solving tricky puzzles 🔢, exploring the world around us 🌍, and creating wonderful things 🎨. Most importantly, we’ll help each other, try our best, and make our classroom a happy place where everyone feels welcome.

We can’t wait to see all the brilliant things you will achieve this year. Let’s make Year 2 our best year yet!

Our PE day is FRIDAY. Please remember to bring your PE kit to school in a PE bag and leave it in school everyday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black or blue jogging bottoms / leggings, socks, trainers and your school jumper or hoodie. Please make sure you also bring a coat to school as the weather does change during the day.
 

Please remember to read your home reading book at least three times a week and make sure your reading record is signed by a grown-up each time you have read. We will also send our narrative story map home to practice, with the words on the back. Please support your child and help them with this - we are sure they will help you learn the actions too!
