Hello Year 2! 🌟
We hope you had a lovely holiday, whether you were relaxing at home, or spending time with family and friends.
Now it’s time to start a brand-new half-term full of exciting learning! We will be reading new stories (The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers), practising our maths (measures and fractions), being creative and continuing to be kind, caring learners who always try their best.
Let’s make this summer term a great one!
Take care and stay safe,
Ms Makda and Mrs Vachhiyat
Our PE days are now on Mondays.
If you have magazines, newspapers or leaflets at home, please bring them in for our artwork.
We have studied two new artists (Frida Kahlo and Romare Bearden) for World Art Day (15.04.26).
We cannot wait to get started with our artwork for the showcase!
We have been using different types of weighing scales to weigh classroom objects.
We have started to learn our new story, The Way Back Home.
Check our 'This half term in...' page to see our story map.
We took our PSHE lessons outdoors this week and learnt about the process of learning something new.
