The children enjoyed exploring electrical circuits and finding out how to make a bulb shine brighter. They built simple circuits and tested different ideas to see what worked best.

They then designed and made their own torches, creating a range of designs including handheld torches, head torches all using recycled material.

Afterwards, they evaluated their work by discussing what went well and what they would change if they made their torch again. This helped them think about how to improve their designs and make them even better.
