We have been very lucky to have a hands-on learning experience about the life cycle of a butterfly. After receiving four caterpillars and learning that they hatch from eggs, we carefully observed them grow and create their cocoons before transforming into beautiful butterflies. For a few days, we fed and cared for the butterflies so they could gain their strength. Then, as a class, we released them into their natural habitat. It was a wonderful experience that helped us understand the incredible changes that take place during a butterfly's life cycle and gave us the opportunity to see nature up close.

Through this experience, the children learned about the butterfly life cycle, observed how living things grow and change, and developed an appreciation for caring for nature and living creatures. 🦋✨
