Hello Ducklings, 

We are so excited to welcome you and your children to a brand-new school year. We are so proud of the amazing curiosity, courage and perseverance the children have shown since they started. The first few weeks have been full of new faces, new routines, and lots of learning through play. Starting a new school year is a big milestone and we are so proud of them. Throughout this year we will celebrate their growth, discoveries and the wonderful memories that will be created in their learning journey.
 

Please check this page regularly for messages and lots of activities to help support your child at home with their learning. A newsletter is sent out weekly to keep you all updated of our advenutres through the week!

KEY MESSAGES

Please ensure your child comes to school with:

• a waterproof coat with a hood

• suitable footwear (wellies to leave in school, if possible) 

• change of clothing (to keep in school)

We explore outdoors in all weather 'Every drop of rain sparks a new adventure'. 

Topic for Autumn 1: 
 

This term we will be focusing on getting to know each other, establishing routines, following rules, exploring our classroom areas and beginning our school journey. 
 

Our first nursery rhymes that we have started to learn are 'heads, shoulders, knees and toes' and 'five little ducks'. 

Our topic this term is 'All about me'.
