This term, our topic is 'growing and planting'.
This week, the children began planting their own sunflower seeds. We have been learning about what plants need to grow, exploring the key ideas of water, sunlight, and air. These words, along with seed, flower, and plant, have been part of our core vocabulary throughout the week.

Over the next few weeks, we will work together to look after our sunflowers. The children will help monitor each pot, observe the changes they see, and watch as their plants begin to grow. We’re excited to see the progress each sunflower makes!
