Wednesday is now our new Forest School day, and we have been having such a magical time learning outdoors. This week, the children went on a Scavenger Hunt, searching for signs of new growth as we move closer to Spring. We also looked for mini beasts, planted seeds, and enjoyed lots of wonderful playtime with our friends.
The children even invented a new game! They collected tyres and created their own race, rolling them down the hill to see who would reach the bottom first. This simple but exciting game supported their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and gross motor development—all while having lots of fun together.
'The mud will wash off, but the memories will last a lifetime.'
This quote felt especially true as we watched the children’s happy, smiley faces throughout the day!
