Robins and Sparrows went head-to-head to debate topics that mattered to them, such as “Should pupils have to wear a uniform?” and “Should the school day be longer or shorter?”
Each class voted to agree or disagree, then presented their arguments, giving clear and confident reasons for their views.
The children gained valuable insight into debating, learning how to structure their opinions, listen to others and respond thoughtfully.
