In nursery, we celebrated St George’s Day by setting up a castle with knights, St George, and dragons. We enjoyed role playing and learnt that St George was a brave knight who, according to legend, defeated a dragon which symbolises bravery. Some children also made England flags to help them learn about England and understand that we live in England, where this story is remembered and celebrated.
