Religious Education at Intack Primary School - Statement of Intent
At Intack, it is our intent that Religious Education will help our pupils to develop the skills and knowledge in understanding different religious beliefs, values and traditions. This will enable them to become well-rounded individuals who are understanding and respectful of beliefs differing to their own, both within school and our local community.
For our RE curriculum, we follow the Blackburn with Darwen agreed syllabus – Questful RE, which states ‘through the exploration of all major World Faiths and discussion of non-religious worldviews, pupil’s will gain knowledge and understanding that will equip them to encounter life’s experiences in our world today and in the future.’
