Children took part in an 'Intackaround' project for Eco Week, creating their own Newsround-style reports about everything happening in school. They covered a range of topics including David Attenborough’s birthday, Eco Week activities, science investigations on melting and River Trust Week.

From writing engaging headlines to planning their scripts and finally presenting, the children developed their reporting skills at every stage. Their confidence and presentation skills improved noticeably over the unit and by the end of the project they performed inspirational news reports—and most importantly, they thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
