🐞 Reception Minibeast Hunt Adventure! 🐛

We have had a fantastic time exploring the outdoors during our exciting Minibeast Hunt!

Ready with magnifying glasses and bug pots, the children set off on a mission to search for tiny creatures hiding all around our school grounds.

The children carefully searched for minibeasts in their natural habitats, looking under logs, among the leaves, in the grass and in the soil. They were thrilled to discover a variety of fascinating creatures, including worms, woodlice, spiders and even a few speedy beetles!

Using their magnifying glasses, the children observed the minibeasts up close, noticing their different shapes, sizes and movements. The bug pots allowed them to safely and gently collect the minibeasts for a closer look before returning them back to where they were found.

This hands-on experience helped the children develop their curiosity about the natural world, while learning the importance of caring for living things and respecting their habitats.

What a wonderful day of discovery, teamwork and outdoor learning! 🌿
