We have been making the most of the sunny weather and enjoying lots of wonderful summer fun outside!

🌻 Looking After Our Sunflowers

Our sunflowers are growing beautifully! We have been learning how to look after our plants by giving them plenty of water. We carefully watered our sunflowers and checked to see how much they had grown. We are excited to watch them grow even taller!

🧼🍼 Washing the Babies

We had lots of fun washing the babies in bubbly water! We used sponges, cloths and plenty of bubbles to give the babies a lovely bath. We enjoyed splashing, scrubbing and practising our caring skills as we looked after our babies.

🔴🟡 Connect 4

We have also been practising our turn-taking skills while playing Connect 4. We waited patiently for our turn, thought carefully about where to place our counters and enjoyed playing games with our friends. We are becoming very good at taking turns and playing fairly!

🍦 Welcome to Our Ice-Cream Parlour!

Our outdoor ice-cream parlour hut has been very popular! We have loved taking on the role of ice-cream sellers, serving up delicious-looking ice creams for our friends. We have been using lots of wonderful language as we took orders, counted scoops and decided which flavours to serve.

We have had such a wonderful time playing, learning and exploring outdoors this summer. There has been lots of laughter, creativity and fantastic learning happening in our Reception garden! ☀️🌻🍦
