We were very excited to welcome some special visitors to Reception!

The guinea pigs from Nursery came to visit our classroom. The children enjoyed meeting them and had the opportunity to gently stroke them. We talked about how to care for guinea pigs, including being gentle and kind, giving them food and water, and keeping their home clean and safe.

Over the coming weeks, Reception will be able to visit the guinea pigs in Nursery, enjoy cuddles, and help to care for them. This will support the children's learning about animals, responsibility and kindness.

The children loved meeting the guinea pigs and are already looking forward to seeing them again!
