The impact of our Computing curriculum, underpinned by Purple Mash, is that pupils:

Show clear progression across all three strands of computing, demonstrated in their digital work and problem-solving approaches.
Apply transferable skills in logic, reasoning, creativity and collaboration, supporting learning across the wider curriculum.
Understand how technology shapes their lives and the wider world, and are inspired to explore future opportunities in computing and digital careers.
Impact is measured through:
Pupil outcomes in Purple Mash units (saved work and digital portfolios).
End-of-unit quizzes and assessment tasks within Purple Mash.
Ongoing teacher assessment, questioning and observation.
Pupil voice, reflecting confidence, safety and enjoyment.
Subject leader monitoring of planning, outcomes and teaching consistency.
