Year 6 Leavers Assembly - Thank you to all the Parents and Carers who came this morning to the celebration assembly.

Ducklings - Nursery

Welcome to Ducklings!

We are nearly at the end our school year!

We can't believe how fast this year's gone and how much all the children have grown since they started with us in September! They have made all of us amazingly proud and have enjoyed every minute with them, teaching them new things, watching them grow and them teaching us too!

This term the children have chosen their own topic. We talked about what their interest were and nearly all of them came back with Superheroes!

So we looked at Superheroes!

We also talked about how Superheroes help us and this lead us nicely into People who help us. The children have loved doing this topic as it was their choice! It's been a great way to end the end!

Now that the weather is changing all the time, please make sure that you send your child in prepared for all weathers. Spare change of clothes and a waterproof coat for when its wet and a sun hat and sun cream if the weather is nice. We aim to play outside whatever the weather!

Also please make sure that your child's name is in any school clothing, especially jumpers or cardigans.

See our policy on outdoor play below if you want to familiarise yourself with it.

Below is our topic cycle so you know what your child will be learning each half term during their time in Nursery.

As we come into the Summer term, some of our children that are moving up to Reception in September will be coming home talking to you about 'school ready'. Below is a poster that explains what this means. During our future stay and plays we will also have activities linked to these skills that the children would benefit from being able to do once they start Reception. Please take a look and help us get your child 'school ready'.
