Punctuality
Parents are expected to bring their child to school on time. Pupils who arrive after the doors close at 9.00am will enter school via the school office. Parents will be asked for a reason why their child is late. Children arriving between 9.00am and 9.30am will receive a late mark (Code L). Registers close at 9.30am and children arriving after this time will receive a Code U late mark, which is counted as an unauthorised absence.
We advise parents to try and keep appointments outside of school hours wherever possible. If children are to be absent we ask that parents contact school each day of absence, this can be through voicemail or text message. We advise parents not to keep children at home for minor ailments etc. We aim for at least 95% school attendance.
