Year 5 children enjoyed their trip to UCLAN. This FREE visit is supported by the Young Scientist initiative and Intack Primary School are proud to belong to this.
The children enjoyed a tour of the University, current university students discussed the life of a student with them as we visited the sports facilities, the library, the media centre and the student accommodation. Next the children went into the science laboratory and we learned all about acid and alkaline. When they understood the differences and the reactions these have when joined together we made bath bombs, this was great fun and very interesting. The children were able to bring the bath bombs away and keep them.
The children were well behaved and the teachers we proud of them all.
