Summer Term 1
Reception have been taking part in Forest School sessions. Due to the this term being mixed with bank holidays and voting days, the sessions have been blended over certain weeks. The children have loved being outdoors and following their own learning journey. Once objectives have been covered, the children are free to explore with planned set activities and follow their own interests in learning . This enhances their enjoyment for learning and creativity. The following objectives have been covered over the weeks:
- To understand the Forest School rules
- To name three things which live in a woodland environment
- To understand and label features of a tree
- To complete a scavenger hunt
- To create a shelter for safety
- To make a fairy garden, created from natural resources
- To create a flower print
