Tree Cookies
In this session the children experienced:
- Using a bow saw safely
- Creating a tree cookie out of natural wood
In this session the learners understood what a bow saw is used for and how to use one. We all had a turn using the bow saw in small guided groups, we then created a tree cookie and decorated it. The tree cookie gives the learner a sense of belonging in the Forest School site. The learners who weren't creating a tree cookie explored for mini beasts! When they were exploring they found our Forest School friend, Forest School Fenton!
