  • Year 2 visit Tesco

    Year 2 went to Tesco. An experience of walking and shopping, using many life and maths skills was enjoyed by all. Year 2 were tired when they arrived back !
  • Tree planting

    Today we planted an apple tree, donated by the Woodland Trust, it was planted next to the sign, at the top of the drive. It will take years to grow but Mrs. Hamriding, joined by Year 6 boys, Mr. Waldron, our new Site Supervisor and Mrs. Burnyeat, taking the picture, took care in preparing the ground and planting the tree so in years to come it may produce apples.
  • Early Years Quality Mark

    Brilliant news…. School have been awarded the Quality Mark for Early Years. We already hold the Basic Skills, English and Maths Quality Mark but we have now been awarded the Quality Mark for our Nursery and Reception work. Well done to Mrs. Forrest and her team, we are proud of you and all our children in the Foundation Stage, thank you for your hard work.

  • Attendance work in School.

    To support school in our work to improve our attendance rates we have appointed Miss. Haining, who has worked as a TA within school for many years, as our Attendance and Family support worker. Miss. Haining will work as a member of our team in trying to improve our attendance by being on duty as late comers arrive and contacting and visiting homes if children are not in school. The Education Welfare Officer, from the Council Education Department will still do their work with school.
