    Year 6 were given the task of designing and making a healthy three course meal for a chosen teacher. The topic in spring term for year 6 was about food groups and the importance of having a balanced diet. We researched the meals and ingredients needed before looking online to see what our budget was going to be. Some children went shopping for the ingredients and the rest cooked the meals in school. The staff were then served their meals in the year 6 block. A huge success - well done year 6!
  • Our Choir as the opening act.

    Due to our success in the Big Sing at King George’s Hall our Choir have been invited to not only take part in the Mini Sing tonight and tomorrow evening but open the show! Good luck to our Choir and thank you to the staff and Parents supporting us. We are ‘proud’ of you.

     

  • School Book sale.

    We held a Book Sale in school . Mrs. Williams arranged the book sale and has reported a very good turn- out, good sales and we raised about £70 for school in addition to books purchased by school. The children were excited about the range of books and it was nice to see books being bought for the pleasure of reading. There are more book sales planned for the future.  
  • Chicks hatching!

    We had Chicks arriving in Foundation stage. They arrived as eggs and hatched within 24 hours! The children have been looking after them, watching them grow and have invited Parents in to share the experience .
  • Money management

    Year 5 and 6 have been learning about managing money. Awareness of money management to support life skills is important. Drop-ins for Parents, giving financial advice and support have also taken place.
