School Meals and Payments
The school is changing their school meal provider from Dolce to Lancashire Catering Services. This change will take effect from after the half term. We will be sending out new menus and instructions to every parent next week. This information pack will also include instructions to show you how to use our new payment system ParentPay. This can be used for any payments to school including clubs, Robin Wood residential, school lunches etc
We will be aiming to be a cashless school in future so please sign up to ParentPay when you get your instructions. If you need help or advice please come and speak to Mrs Ruth in the office.
Today we were visited by the Blackburn Food bank representative, Barbara Foster. She came to talk to the children about the Harvest collection and the work the Foodbank does. Some of our donated food has already been collected. Thank you everyone!
Mrs. Williams has said the Bus took over £800 pounds and school will be able to spend over £100, our commission, on books for classes.
The ‘Book Bus‘ was onsite on Wednesday and Thursday. All the classes visited the Bus and enjoyed looking at the books and choosing which books they might like to buy. It gave the children time to find out about new authors they didn’t know of and share stories.
